Brendan Fraser burst into tears at the world premiere of The Whale, where he played the title role. It happened at the Venice Film Festival. A new photo of Darren Aronofsky (Darren Aronofsky; “Requiem for a Dream”, “Black Swan”) and acting Fraser received six minutes of applause.
The actor got emotional and hugged Aronofsky several times. He tried to leave the room during the credits, but the applause was so loud it would be ugly to leave.

A video of a crying Frazier went viral. Dwayne Johnson, who once starred with Frazier in the action movie The Mummy Returns, has already responded to him.
God, I’m so happy to see this beautiful standing ovation for Brendan. He supported me during the filming of The Mummy. It was my first role, which started my Hollywood career. My fingers crossed for all your success, brother, and congratulations to my friend Darren Aronofsky.
The Whale tells the story of Charlie, who became obese after losing a loved one. To turn into a character, Fraser put on six hours of makeup every day and wore a special suit that could weigh up to 130 kg.
