Director Joe Dante, who directed Gremlins in 1984, criticized Disney and Lucasfilm for Grog’s performance in The Mandalorian. The director is convinced that the show’s creators copied the design of the Gizmo gremlin when they made Baby Yoda.
Dante shared his observation during an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle. At the same time, he noted that, despite his words, he does not hold a grudge and will not sue.
i think long life [фильмов о Гремлинах] associated with this character [Гизмо], which is essentially like a child. Which, of course, brings me to the subject of Baby Yoda, which was completely stolen and shamelessly copied. I would even say shameless.

As Comicbook points out, Gizmo gained the same popularity in the 80s that Grog enjoys now. The little gremlin filled the shelves of toy stores and was loved even by those who did not know the film.

Earlier, two teasers for the third season of The Mandalorian leaked to the network. The premiere should take place in February 2023. 😱 Kojima was recorded as a murderer
