Russians explained why they shop from local brands 09:00

Last year, a third of Russian residents bought clothes from local designers. This follows from a Yandex Market survey, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.

Russians explained why they started buying products from local brands. More than half of the survey respondents said that the quality of clothing, shoes and accessories from Russian designers is better or comparable to older foreign brands.

Another advantage of such products, according to survey participants, is their price. A third of Russians said that clothes produced by local designers are cheaper. At the same time, 41% of the respondents stated that the prices of products produced in Russia and foreign brands are the same.

81% of those surveyed said that products from local brands have up-to-date designs. The majority of survey participants who have previously purchased Russian-made clothing are ready to repeat the purchase due to the quality and modern prints.

According to the research, 74 percent of Russians describe the products of local brands as a good alternative to outdated foreign brands.
