Summary:
High school student Dai Miyamoto has been practicing the saxophone day and night ever since a friend took him to a live jazz performance that touched him deeply. Even though he can’t read the notes, he plays with all his passion. After graduation, jazz leads him to move to Tokyo, where he meets a talented pianist named Yukinori Sawabe. Yukinori doesn’t take him seriously at first, but after hearing him play, he changes his mind and they decide to form a band together. They are soon joined by rookie drummer Shunji Tamada and three from JASS. The trio’s goal is to change the Japanese jazz scene by playing at Japan’s largest jazz club, So Blue. But just when the possibility of playing live at So Blue arises, something completely unexpected happens.
