It is possible to reduce the construction time of a private house to 45 days without changing technology, but by establishing management processes. Vadim Yuldashev, head of the Moscow region construction company Yuko, told socialbites.ca.
“Often developers follow a model where one large team does everything: they complete the initial work of the entire house first and only then move on to the next ones. We have built this way before and it took an average of 6-8 months to build a cottage, which is the industry average. “We divided it into several highly specialized teams that deal only with their own areas of work, but also deal with other similar teams. This made it possible to reduce the construction time by four times without loss of quality,” said Yuldashev.
The director of the construction company explained that we are talking about houses made of aerated concrete blocks on a pile grid foundation with reinforced concrete slabs.
According to Yuldashev, high-speed home construction technology can take the industry much further.
“Today, we tested our management model in three buildings and we will apply it in mass construction. “In my opinion, not only the construction industry will benefit from this, but also home buyers,” said the manager of the construction company.
