Russian football player Vyacheslav Malafeev organized a party in honor of his divorce from his wife Ekaterina. The football player’s ex-wife shared images of the incident on her personal blog.
The ex-spouses organized a farewell party where their close friends gathered. Ekaterina Malafeeva wore a black mini jumpsuit decorated with shiny “feathers” for the event, which she completed with black knee socks and platform Chelsea shoes. The athlete wore a light linen shirt, matching trousers and white sneakers to the party.
“Our beautiful love story ends here,” Ekaterina Malafeeva wrote on one of the photos.
During the farewell party, the Malafeevs said goodbye and burned photos together. Divorced spouses cut the birthday cake while slow dancing to Valery Meladze’s song “Beautiful”. Finally, Ekaterina Malafeeva took off her wedding ring and threw it into the sea.
“This is the beginning of a new life for each of us. Thank you for these wonderful years, I am happy to be among you,” commented the athlete.
Vyacheslav Malafeev was married twice. From 2001 to 2011 he was married to Marina Bezborodova, from whom his daughter Ksenia and son Maxim were born. In 2013, the football player married Ekaterina, who gave birth to his son Alex.
