Summer holiday prices in Turkey increased by 20-25% compared to the same period of the previous year. This was told socialbites.ca by Travelbelka tour chief Dilya Demidenko.
“The cost of tours has increased by about 20-25% compared to last year. 75 thousand rubles for two people in 5, and an all-inclusive tour can no longer be found, ”said the artist.
According to him, the cheapest tour for two people a week in Turkey this summer will cost 68 thousand rubles, and for an all-inclusive tour to an “average” five-star hotel you will have to pay 96 thousand rubles.
The expert noted that Turkey is the number one destination for Russian tourists today.
“Turkey seems to be the most suitable and profitable option for a holiday. The MIR card is working, the lira has fallen against the ruble, there is no need for PCR testing for those who are vaccinated and sick,” he said.
Demidenko added that the flight time to Turkish resorts has increased: if earlier the planes flew 3.5 hours, now the time has increased by one and a half hours.
On tour, charter Russian flights, it takes an average of 5:20 minutes to fly to Antalya, and 4:35 minutes to Turkey flights. The longest flight is to Istanbul, with a flight time of 5:40 minutes. However, this does not upset or frighten citizens at all. “The attitude towards the Russians in Turkey is now good, everything is very friendly and hospitable,” he said.
