The famous wave house, formerly owned by British musician Rod Stewart, is up for sale for $49.5 million. It has been reported New York Post.
Malibu features a house that looks like a giant wave over the ocean: The Wave House was designed by renowned American architect Harry Gesner in the 1950s and is considered one of the most recognizable homes on the California coast to this day. The approximately 600 square meter home has 6 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, a large living room with fireplace and a large terrace overlooking the ocean.
“With its unique design and charming atmosphere, Wave House evokes admiration and at the same time a sense of relaxation,” says the site’s description.
Rod Stewart bought Wave House in the 1970s and lived there until 1987, when he sold the house to a Warner Bros. Records to Mo Austin. After Austin’s death in 2022, his son Michael decided to sell the house.
