Prince Harry appeared on television in New Zealand, announcing the start of a new project in this country. This has been reported daily mail.
He will tell later what exactly the Duke of Sussex’s venture will entail – in an interview with the television show “Te Ao with Moana” on Māori Television. Meanwhile, a short advertisement was shown to the public in which Prince Harry promised to share the details of his new “kaupapa”, which in Maori means work aimed at ensuring the welfare of society.
In the same video, TV presenter Moana Maniapoto expresses her hope that Prince Harry’s announcement will spark a public backlash.
“The idea of someone from the royal family talking about Maori values given our history and putting Maori values to the fore in decision-making and building relationships is discussed,” said the TV presenter.
Prince Harry has made several official visits to New Zealand. His popularity in the country increased dramatically after his first tour in 2015. He later visited New Zealand with Meghan Markle in 2018.
