According to a source close to Charles III, the king is “happy” to be present at his youngest son’s coronation, but is “somewhat disappointed” that his majesty will not be able to see Meghan and her two grandchildren on this important day.

The King is happy that his son Harry, whom he calls “my dear son”, will be with him at the convent today. He understands the situation, but is still upset and disappointed that he won’t be able to see Megan and her grandchildren.

Buckingham Palace announced yesterday that Prince Harry will attend the coronation at Westminster Abbey, while Meghan Markle will stay in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Sources close to the Duchess of Sussex said many factors contributed to her decision to stay at home with the children, but the main reason was to celebrate Archie’s birthday.
