The authors of the PlayStation 4 emulator (fpPS4) continue to improve their program that allows you to play console games on PC. Recently a video appeared where they tested a new version of the emulator and showed how 65 different projects are working on it.
Of course, fpPS4 is still very raw and therefore you cannot run large-scale games with it Ghost of Tsushima or The Last of Us: Part 2. Gradually, however, the developers are trying to make it more stable and expand support for current projects.
Many of the games we tested have audio issues. Some of them don’t work at all when they try to launch the game. For example, Hollow Knight starts crashing as soon as the player tries to continue playing. And here Minit is more or less stable, but it’s unlikely anyone will use a PS4 emulator to play this project since it’s also available on PC. Still doing well Jump King, although graphic artifacts were seen in some places.

As for the PC on which the games were tested, the author used the following hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor, 32 GB 3600 MHz RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER GAMING graphics card.
You can download the latest version of the emulator here.
Be that as it may, the relevance of the PS4 emulator fades over time as Sony actively releases its games on PC. During the last TGA 2022 ceremony, she announced the port Returnal and announced the release date The Last of Us Part 1 for Steam and EGS. 📆 STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor will be released on March 16 – the release date appeared on the game page on Steam.
