In Asian countries, Goddess of Victory: Nikke, a mobile shooter about the war between anime girls and robots, is rapidly gaining popularity. The game was released on November 4 and according to predictions analyst Daniel Ahmad (Daniel Ahmad) could bring in $ 100 million in the first month. For comparison, Diablo Immortal achieved a similar result in eight weeks.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke is set in a post-apocalyptic future. Humanity has been hiding underground from hostile alien machines, but big companies are releasing weapons that can defeat the enemy. These weapons are Nike’s humanoid soldiers, named after the ancient Greek goddess of victory.

The gameplay is very simple: players have to control the girl by shooting enemy robots from cover. The reason for the wild popularity of the game is the gacha mechanics, the presence of pumps and the heroines themselves, whose hips quiver with every shot.

The project was developed by studio Shift Up, which is now also making a slasher Stellar blade. According to media reports, at the launch of Goddess of Victory: Nikke took first place in terms of revenue in South Korea, Japan and Taiwan.
