Vladimir Presnyakov admitted in an interview with Laura Dzhugelia that his early relationship with Natalya Podolskaya ended during the initial period, when the two were still getting to know each other.
He explained that his heavy drinking at the time created distance between them. He recalled that Natalya’s close friends urged her not to move forward with the relationship, and at that moment he felt a sudden fear about the path they might be taking.
Over time, Presnyakov said, circumstances improved. He managed to address his alcohol issues, and he believes that a higher force rewarded him with a partner who stood beside him during this transformative period. He noted that he reached a level of certainty about marrying Podolskaya, something he had not previously contemplated.
Reflecting on the possibility of different outcomes, the artist remarked that it is hard to imagine their lives diverging now after all they have built together.
Podolskaya and Presnyakov have been linked romantically since 2010. They are a family with children: Artemy, born in 2015, and Ivan, born in 2020. Presnyakov also has a first child, Nikita, from a prior relationship with Kristina Orbakaite.
