Valeria Lerchek Chekalina and Artem Chekalin Divorce Update

In a conversation with blogger Valeria Chekalina, known as Lerchek, she stated that she is not planning to have another child at the moment. She explained that the timing for expanding her family would come only when life naturally allows it, emphasizing a belief that whatever life offers will be accepted and managed with care.

Chekalina is a mother to three: twins Alisa and Bogdan and their brother Lev. Their father is businessman Artem Chekalin. At present, the couple are in the midst of divorce proceedings. The process has drawn attention as both sides prepare their cases and claims through legal representation, with no direct court appearances by the spouses themselves.

On April 17, a magistrate judge temporarily paused the divorce proceedings for two months, with a subsequent hearing date set for June 11. Lawyers representing the two parties indicated that counsel would handle all official discussions and filings, rather than direct courtroom appearances by the couple.

According to sources, Artem Chekalin filed a lawsuit seeking 1.2 billion rubles in the division of jointly acquired property. The dispute centers on how the couple’s assets will be allocated as they separate, including a premium asset listed among the property holdings: a 2021 Bentley Continental GT valued at more than 29 million rubles.

News from the Moscow Simonovsky District Court on April 16 indicated that the claim by Artem Chekalin against Valeria Chekalina regarding the division of their jointly acquired property had not progressed further at that time.

Earlier, Lerchek hinted at questions about her personal status after the divorce, suggesting that she was evaluating her heart’s position as events unfolded, while continuing to focus on the well‑being of her children and the practical steps involved in the separation.
