Reports from Fontanka indicate that doctors at the Mariinsky Hospital in St. Petersburg have prohibited actor Mikhail Boyarsky from smoking while he receives medical care. The restriction appears aimed at stabilizing his condition and supporting his overall recovery process.

The actor’s son, Sergei Boyarsky, told reporters that resuming a cigarette habit would be a sign of improvement. He noted that his father expressed a clear desire to smoke, yet the medical team is not allowing any smoking on the ward. Sergei extended gratitude for the public’s support of the family during this difficult period.

According to 78.ru, Boyarsky was admitted to the Mariinsky Hospital after suffering a heart attack on November 27. The following day, hospital staff reported that his condition had stabilized and that he remained under close observation.

Izvestia, citing a source familiar with the situation, stated that angiography was performed on November 27 to assess his heart health. The publication added that Boyarsky is currently receiving comprehensive intensive therapy. Medical teams are conducting continuous monitoring of his condition and addressing metabolic needs as part of his treatment plan.

On November 30, Larisa Luppian, the actor’s wife, announced that Boyarsky was on track for discharge within a few days, depending on his daily progress and clinical assessments.

Earlier reports about a “Closed Screening” with Gordon suggested a return to Channel 1, though no further details were provided in the latest updates. Authorities and representatives have encouraged patience as the situation develops and confirmed ongoing medical care for the artist.
