Threats to Lada Dance and Aftermath of a Moscow-Area Car Crash
An interview with lawyer Sergei Zhorin revealed that the Channel Five singer Lada Dance began receiving threats on social networks. Zhorin indicated that while some messages might come from unstable individuals, dismissing such communications would be unwise and could invite real danger.
The lawyer noted that the threats extended beyond online messages and reached the singer by phone. He explained that the concert director for Lada Dance, Sergei Pudovkin, lodged an official report with law enforcement authorities in response to the intimidation.
According to reports, an unidentified person threatened the artist on Dance’s social media accounts with a knife if the demand for 12 million rubles from a shipping company was not met. The message appeared to be linked to ongoing disputes surrounding the artist’s finances and was taken seriously by the singer’s management and legal team.
On August 5, an automobile collision occurred on the M-2 Crimea highway in the Moscow region. Involved vehicles collided in a troubling incident that led to multiple injuries. A total of four people were injured in the crash. The 51-year-old driver of Dance’s vehicle sustained rib and spinal injuries and was hospitalized for treatment. Two other female passengers in the same car also required medical attention, one with a rib fracture and the other with a jaw fracture. The incident prompted a swift medical response and subsequent investigations to determine the causes and contributing factors.
On August 8, Sergei Pudovkin, the concert director for Lada Dance, told socialbites.ca that the singer would pursue legal action against the transport company involved in the accident, seeking damages amounting to 12 million rubles. The decision highlighted the seriousness with which the management team views the incident and their intention to seek accountability through legal channels. The statement signaled a potential civil claim linked to the operation of the transportation service and its impact on the artist and her team.
By August 12, Dance required a reoperation related to facial surgery. The medical update indicated that the singer would undergo additional procedures as part of her recovery, underscoring the physical and emotional toll of the events from the previous days. The news also suggested a longer rehabilitation path ahead for the artist as she works towards full recovery.
Earlier reports had already indicated that Lada Dance would face a challenging rehabilitation process following the accident.
