The Moscow City Court of Justice has granted rapper Guf, whose real name is Alexei Dolmatov, and his wife Yulia Koroleva a three month window to settle their differences and potentially reconcile. This decision came as the court asked the couple to work through their issues before a final divorce could be filed, according to reports from Channel Five.
During the three month period the judge will oversee the negotiations on key family matters including where their child will live, how care will be organized, and how the communications between the parents will be structured. The court also indicated that property questions would be addressed during this time. The aim is to reach an amicable arrangement in all aspects of the family situation, allowing the relationship to be resolved without going through a contested divorce if possible.
Sergei Zhorin, one of the lawyers representing the couple, stated that the plan for a peaceful separation remains in place. He spoke on behalf of Dolmatov and Koroleva, expressing hope that the period of reconciliation could set a positive example for others facing similar circumstances. The lawyer emphasized that the focus would be on a calm and orderly resolution of parental responsibilities, residence, and financial matters, with both parties approaching the process in good faith.
Dolmatov and Koroleva wed in 2021, and they welcomed a daughter named Tina the following year. In March 2023, Dolmatov shared a series of posts on his social media that depicted his wife in distress and made claims about alleged substance use. He subsequently removed the videos from his profile. In April of the same year, Dolmatov announced their divorce, and by May the couple had reportedly reconciled. Later that summer a sequence of messages between the two was made public in which Dolmatov indicated a final break with his spouse, signaling ongoing tensions within the marriage.
The situation has also touched on past relationships, including remarks about the influence and involvement of former partners in various aspects of life on and off social media. These disclosures have added layers to the public narrative surrounding the couple and their evolving family dynamic, highlighting the pressure and scrutiny that public figures often face when navigating private matters in a highly visible arena. The court’s current interim arrangement seeks to balance the privacy of the family with the interests of the child and the rights of both parents as the separation process progresses.
