Denis’s mother, Tatyana Zherebkina, shared how the first signs appeared when Denis was around three years old. She initially dismissed the changes, but a daycare teacher eventually contacted her with a warning that Denis lacked the energy to attend class.
According to the mother, the teacher called after Denis drank an entire liter bottle of water and struggled to stand. She rushed to the scene, and Denis could not walk on his own. An ambulance was summoned, and medical staff evaluated their blood sugar and admitted them to Morozov hospital, where the doctors diagnosed type 1 diabetes for Denis.
