Rapper Matrang, whose real name is Alan Khadzaragov, was seen at Phuket airport ahead of a morning flight to Moscow. This account was reported by Life Referring to Shot. An eyewitness told the outlet that the performer appeared unsettled and declined a photo opportunity, citing concerns it might draw attention.
Earlier, the artist indicated plans to return to Russia on February 29 and disclosed that he had changed his contact number. He warned that upon returning he might face unfavorable treatment and asserted that he had retired from making music. In a subsequent note to his fans, he requested financial support for meals, explaining that his family, friends, and record labels would not assist him at that time.
On February 19, reports indicated that Khadzaragov was detained by Thai police at a Phuket cafe. A video released by Shot showed the artist claiming a subscriber had alerted authorities by spreading false statements. He stated that his documents were being held by the police for verification and suggested that he could be deported back to Moscow. He also said he was prepared to return to the Russian capital soon.
Earlier coverage noted a separate development involving RAO and a financial claim against Kirkorov. It was reported that RAO intended to withdraw its 2 million ruble claim following Kirkorov’s visit to the DPR. (Life Referring to Shot)
