Actor and TV presenter Marat Basharov spoke about SoundIt’s not that he lacks psychic gifts.
Basharov explained that he has no plans to cultivate paranormal powers. The artist also shared that he occasionally experiences dreams that turn out to be true. Alexander Sheps, the winner of the 14th season of the show Battle of Psychics, weighed in on Basharov’s extraordinary talents and affirmed there is more to the presenter than meets the eye.
“Alexander Sheps understands this better because he perceives things more clearly,” Basharov remarked, adding, “Thank you, it’s meaningful to hear such compliments from someone who is regarded as a great medium and a skilled magician.”
Battle of Psychics is a reality program that some viewers describe as mystical, featuring self-described sorcerers and magicians who demonstrate their abilities. The show ran from its first season through season seven with Mikhail Porechenkov as host; Basharov has been the host since season eight. The program often draws critique for questions about its authenticity and whether certain moments are staged rather than spontaneous.
In June, Basharov opened up about the challenges he faces on the set. He revealed that a typical shooting day on the project can stretch from 14 to 20 hours. The schedule can require him to endure muddy conditions and physically demanding stunts. Yet, despite the strain, he expresses a continued interest in engaging with contestants who open up about their troubles, pain, and daily struggles and to provide a sense of connection through the performances.
Earlier, a former participant of Ural Dumplings discussed the nature of his relationships with colleagues and the on-set atmosphere during his time on the show.
