The dining experience during these evenings has been crafted by Maestral’s culinary team and takes inspiration from the featured books. Guests are welcomed with champagne, olives, and hazelnuts as a refined aperitif.
Appetizers include cod fritters served with a creamy accompaniment, vol au vents filled with anchovy cream, and savory sausages. A chicory salad with salvadora greens, green lettuce, avocado, olive oil, asparagus, crab, and pineapple adds a vibrant balance to the course lineup.
The main course presents a creamy mushroom chicken tamale paired with guacamole and a cheese soufflé. For dessert, a chocolate coca French toast arrives alongside a comforting rice pudding soup. The themed wine for this event is a rosé named “Raphael,” an exclusive from the Casa Sicilia 1707 winery, selected to complement the literary flavors on offer (Citation: Maestral Culinary & Wine Pairings).
