The shocking news rattled the local community and caught the attention of Arjones and his journalist friend Mercedes, who reported on the tragedy for INFORMACIÓN. The story moved Arjones to transform the experience into a short film that serves as a poignant critique of loneliness and neglect. The project marked his feature film debut, Damn Spring, produced by Twinplay Films with Anabel Rosas, and it later screened at the Alicante Film Festival where it drew strong audience response.
