Reports claim that scammers targeted a country house once associated with People’s Artist of Russia Larisa Dolina in the Protasovka area near Moscow, valuing the property at about 70 million rubles. The information appeared on the Telegram channel Mash.
A document obtained by Mash from a private creditor database allegedly shows Dolina mortgaging the country house to secure a loan intended for an anniversary tour. The recorded bail amount is 50 million rubles.
The document purportedly states that the investor would receive 30 percent per year for a 12-month period. The guarantor for the repayment would be the borrower’s “very good income.”
Dolina’s manager refuted the pledge allegation, noting that the artist had funds for the anniversary tour but that scammers gained access to the cottage’s documents, Dolina’s personal papers, and archival photographs of the mansion.
The director indicated that a lawyer is examining the case and plans to file a complaint with the police in due course.
Separately, it was reported that fake Wikipedia staff recently deceived Edward Radzinsky out of 45 million rubles.
Earlier, lawyer Sergei Zhorin commented on a possibility of pursuing Lolita’s case related to Morgenstern’s song, which has been labeled a foreign agent matter by some authorities in Russia.
