Ibi Degomagom publishing house released a travel book titled From Mariola to the Sea. It is created by Alicante sculptor Vicente Ferrero Molina, born in Banyeres de Mariola in 1944. The book uses a personal journey through memory and landscape, captured in a series of eighty pages of forty illustrations. The route traces roughly forty kilometers between the sea and the mountains of Alicante, moving from Banyeres to El Campello, Ibi, Alcoy, Agres, Biar, and Bocairent, and it reflects a world seen through Ferrero Molina’s eyes during a time of pandemic strain in 2020.
