On February 14 in Moscow, Russian figure skaters Alina Zagitova and Evgenia Medvedeva graced the “Figure Skating Lovers” show, joined by a cast of artists for a night of performance. Zagitova delivered a musical number to Zivert’s song Credo, followed by a live interpretation of Winter in the Heart by the group My Michelle. Medvedeva appeared with Ellipses, a solo piece accompanied by Zivert’s music, and later skated in a duo routine with Alexander Enbert to a cover of Alla Pugachova’s hit Call Me With You, performed by Anatoly Tsoi. The program also featured performances from Yulianna Karaulova, Roy Jones Jr., LIRYQ, Edgar Akopyan and Vakhtang, among others.
The show’s narrative centered on a romance, told through the performances of Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov, who played lovers and guided the audience through scenes of anticipation and reunion. The couple closed the evening with a rendition of Vivo per lei, the romantic duet originally performed by Andrea Bocelli and Giorgia Todrani, leaving spectators with a sense of lyrical longing and connection.
Joining Zagitova and Medvedeva on stage were notable names in the sport, including Alexey Yagudin, Alexandra Trusova, Victoria Sinitsina, Nikita Katsalapov, Margarita Bazylyuk, Lev Lazarev, Alisa Dvoeglazova and several other athletes who contributed to the festival’s vibrant atmosphere.
The Moscow event followed a prior moment of announcement and social premiere surrounding the latest chapter in the cinematic-themed Ice project, with Sasha Petrov presenting the new episode in a special showcase that highlighted the evolving bridge between ice artistry and storytelling.
