International guests and local talent will converge for a pivotal session at the 45th International Elche Independent Film Festival, organized by the Fundación Mediterráneo. Koldo Serra is recognized internationally for his work on multiple seasons of Money Robbery. He has also written and directed feature films, including Guerrilla, and several shorts. Javier Olivares is the creator of historically rooted series such as Isabella and Victor Ros as well as the widely viewed Ministry of Time. He also writes for the stage, adapting works by Mario Vargas Llosa and Benito Pérez Galdós. Beyond his screen work, Olivares is an art historian and a university professor, bringing a scholarly perspective to his storytelling.

Adriana Rivas is a screenwriter with credits on television hits like Red Eagle, Los Serrano, Vis a Vis, and the recent I’m Alive for RTVE. With more than 15 years at Globomedia, a leading Spanish production house, she has helped shape much of Spain’s contemporary audiovisual landscape.

Paula Hergar is a journalist who specializes in television. She has contributed to VerTele, eldiario.es, and LOS40, and co-authored a global guide to places seen in television series with Lorenzo Mejino. Her reporting and analysis center on how media shapes public perception and cultural conversations across regions.
