Officials report that Diana Hidden, known publicly by the stage name Yangolenko, a participant in the program “Boys,” originates from a city in the northern region. She faced arrest in St. Petersburg after authorities found a bag containing marijuana. This development was disclosed by RIA News citing the joint press service of the city courts.
The Vyborg District Court in St. Petersburg ordered a preventive measure, detaining the defendant for two months as investigators continue the case. She is accused of attempting to commercialize illegal drugs.
According to the courts’ press service, on February 14 a six-gram portion of marijuana was obtained by Hidden with the intent to distribute it to an unspecified group. The arrest occurred in an apartment on Tolubeevskaya Street, within a residential building.
The press service also noted that inspection records from the apartment revealed items such as scales and bags containing marijuana, which were among the evidence presented to the court.
Hidden has no prior criminal record and holds a residence permit in Norilsk, with a second registered place of residence in St. Petersburg. She contested the detention order, citing her residence in St. Petersburg, and stated her commitment to refraining from illegal activity moving forward.
In recent public remarks, Yangolenko referred to a personal transformation, suggesting a period of intense self-reflection and renewal.
