Boris Grachevsky’s widow, Ekaterina Belotserkovskaya, shared that her husband would be delighted to hear their four-year-old son Philip hum the theme “Boys and Girls” from the film magazine Yeralash. The commentary was cited by HABER.ru.
“My favorite moment with my dad is when he plays the genie. He also loves the recurring joke of the line, ‘Mom, buy me a cat,’ because cats hold a special place in her heart. It’s funny—Borya and I are dog lovers, and our child adores cats. He watches that scene, chases after me, and repeats, ‘Mom, buy me a cat, buy me a cat!’,” the widow recalled.
Belotserkovskaya noted that the heir bears a strong resemblance to his father in many ways. He is described as soft, gentle, caring, and romantic, with a memory that seems almost prodigious, mirroring his father’s well-known traits.
“The child is curious about life from an early age, showing interest in everything he encounters: singing, learning poetry, and drawing. He enjoys making crafts from dough and sculpting. He is a versatile kid, and it seems to me that all children possess versatility. The key is to capture their attention and nurture it,” the widow added.
Boris Grachevsky and Ekaterina Belotserkovskaya married in 2016, and their son Philip arrived on April 8, 2020. The director later became a father for a fourth time; he passed away at age 71 in January 2021. The couple could potentially have welcomed another child, but the family faced the heartbreak of a miscarriage during that period.
