Update on the Ani Lorak Concert Incident Involving Alexander Korotky and Philip Kirkorov
During a meeting with lawyer Sergei Vasiliev, it was stated that after the incident at the Ani Lorak concert, Alexander Korotky held discussions with Philip Kirkorov through intermediaries. The aim of those discussions, as described, was to explore potential negotiations regarding the events that occurred that night.
Vasiliev did not dispute that his client had received offers to negotiate. He did, however, indicate that Korotky and his representatives have declined those offers. The lawyer asserted that neither Korotky nor his team met with Kirkorov or with Alexander Dobrovinsky, Kirkorov’s attorney, at any point after the incident.
According to Vasiliev, Korotky’s account is that he briefly altered his position to help guide a group of unfamiliar individuals through the venue. In this account, a physical altercation followed: Korotky was pushed from behind, tumbled off the stage area, and was passed by without the star noticing the impact. The consequences of the incident, as described by the lawyer, included a moderate injury that required a 30 day sick leave.
Vasiliev added that Korotky has filed a formal complaint with law enforcement authorities. He emphasized that there is no official information available yet regarding the case beyond the complaint itself.
Reports indicate that after the Ani Lorak performance on September 27, an incident occurred in which Kirkorov allegedly pushed a security guard, resulting in a sprained ankle for the guard. In the days that followed, the security guard consulted with lawyer Sergei Vasiliev and members of the Forty Forty movement seeking assistance. There is a potential that Kirkorov could face a short prison sentence if the incident is classified as minor bodily harm and pursued under the applicable statutes.
Alexander Dobrovinsky, who represents Kirkorov, stated that an investigator immediately visited Kirkorov following the security guard incident. According to Dobrovinsky, the investigator and the artist discussed the details of the encounter, and parties appeared to reach a resolution or agreement after those conversations.
Earlier reports noted that police investigators declined to press charges against Kirkorov or against the security guard involved in the push. Officials did not advance formal charges publicly at that time.
