A renowned attorney, Sergei Zhorin, stated that the heirs of the actress will be responsible for Anastasia Zavorotnyuk’s debt amounting to half a million dollars. His remarks were reported by the publication Pasti.ru.
The lawyer noted that debt payment falls to the heirs, but the obligation should not exceed the value of the inheritance they receive.
Zhorin also indicated that the star of the series My Fair Nanny is unlikely to leave the family facing a global financial crisis because of this debt to the Federal Tax Service.
Earlier reports indicated that the celebrity’s family owed the tax authorities half a million rubles. It was also noted that the family was focused on supporting the actor during treatment, which led to less attention paid to tax deductions.
Anastasia Zavorotnyuk passed away on May 30, at the age of 53. She had been battling glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer, in recent years. Her condition reportedly worsened about two weeks prior to her death, and she spent her final years in the Moscow region. Zavorotnyuk is survived by two children, Michael, aged 23, and Anna, aged 28.
Among her most notable roles was the leading character in the comedy series My Fair Nanny, in which she appeared in 173 episodes over five years. She also featured in programs such as Dancing on Ice, Dancing with the Stars, Marriage Games, and Two Stars.
Reports also suggest that Tarasov’s coach sees Zavorotnyuk as a remarkable player in her own right.
According to official statements, the financial obligation rests with the heirs, constrained by the value of the inheritance, and there is no expectation that this issue will escalate into a broader family burden. The discussion highlights the delicate balance between an individual’s legacy and the practical responsibilities that may accompany it, especially in situations involving illness and sudden loss [citation: Pasti.ru].
