The Co-Cathedral of San Nicolás in Alicante will host the second Advent concert presented by the José Tomás de Alicante Conservatory of Professional Guitar Music this Monday at 20:00. The program features performances by woodwind, string, and choir groups drawn from the 3rd and 4th grades of primary school. The string ensemble is led by Francisco Maestre, wind groups are guided by Pedro Rodríguez, and the choir is directed by Patricia Peinado.

Entrance is free until capacity is reached.

Earlier, conservatory director Miguel J. García spoke on St. Cecilia’s Day, November 22, about a cooperation agreement between the two organizations. Under the arrangement, organ class students can take classes at the Co-Cathedral throughout the year. In return, three concerts will be staged annually at the conservatory.
