This is a show filled with ingenuity and precision. Piedrahita analyzes why no one is satisfied with what they have to live and brings to light the most absurd aspects of our day. “deep existential depth” topics such as dark eyebrows of old ladies, fear of someone else’s toilet or true love dissolves in “deep surface reflections and meticulously rehearsed improvisations” throughout the 80-minute show, leading to a dialectical confrontation where everyone concludes that only humor makes life bearable.
Luis Piedrahita (A Coruña, 1977) is one of the most famous humorists in this country. His white and witty humor traveled throughout Spain and parts of Latin America.
