The Telegram channel “Information Leaks” reported that the data of about 44 million users of the START online cinema has been made public: first and last name, email address, password, IP address, country, subscription start and end date, as well as last login.
At START itself, socialbites.ca stated that they checked the accuracy of this information.
“The information has not been confirmed yet, we are currently actively checking and investigating everything!” – reported on the video service.
When asked by the broadcast how many subscribers the online cinema currently has, START replied, “After verification, all information will be known”.
START is a Russian video service launched by Yellow, Black and White in October 2017. In 2020, MegaFon became a co-owner, and two years later, the company announced the merger of START online cinema and MegaFon TV.
The START library consists of Russian and foreign feature and documentary films, serials, cartoons, talk shows, including serials produced by the parent company.
