Actor Dmitry Kharatyan said on the Good Morning program that the current US President Donald Trump asked director Leonid Gaidai for a small role in a movie.
We are talking about the movie “It’s nice weather on Deribasovskaya, or it’s raining again on Brighton Beach.” Trump allowed the film to be filmed for free at the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City. For this, Gaidai thanked the businessman on loan. Trump, through an assistant, asked him to appear in the film, albeit non-verbally, but the director refused.
“Gaidai answered him: “Who is this? I don’t know such an artist. I have People’s Artists of the Soviet Union! Myagkov, Kuravlev, Dzhigarkhanyan. Donald Trump, who is this? But in vain. I think we can use this now!” — the artist shared.
Donald Trump has made cameo appearances many times in various movies. One of its most famous episodes was featured in Chris Columbus’s film Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. His on-screen appearance lasts about 10 seconds – he showed the main character, played by Macaulay Culkin, how to get to the hotel lobby.
It was previously known how long it would last sold The iconic mansion from the movie Home Alone.
