John Bramblitt

In addition to creating detailed landscapes and portraits, Bramblitt endows the characters in the paintings with emotion. For drawing, the master uses special paints that allow you to distinguish colors by touch: for example, white looks dense to him, and black is more liquid. The artist defines the border of the drawing on the canvas by the convexity of the dried paint.
Val Thomson
Scottish artist Val Thompson invites people to save the remains of their loved ones in a unique way. He mixes the ashes with paints after a person has been cremated to create landscapes and portraits. In a Reuters commentary, Thompson said the idea of using the ashes in the paintings was suggested to him by his brother, who died of a heart attack, whom he loved.
“Most of his ashes went to their garden, but some of it remained. Ann (the widow) didn’t want to part with the rest of the ashes, but she didn’t know what to do with them,” Thompson said. John loved the holidays, so we put his ashes in a beach painting. Ann wanted to immortalize him on the beach.”
Graham Fink
British multimedia artist Graham Fink paints with his eyes on an electronic canvas using modern technology. He sits in front of a transparent screen, presents the image and “circles” with his eyes.
