The former presenter of “Fashionable Sentence” Alexander Vasiliev said in a conversation with the YouTube channel RUSSIAN TVNET that he “did not miss anything in Russian.”
According to the TV presenter, Russia for him is poetry, literature, painting, ballet, opera and language. Everything that can be stored in the heart and soul.
“If I get bored, I turn on love songs performed by Lyudmila Lopato or songs by Iza Kremer, and that’s enough for me. “I will listen to them for half an hour and feel good,” shared the fashion historian.
Vasiliev admitted that he would definitely not miss Russian cheese, noting that the quality of this product is higher in France. Additionally, “special products” such as pickles and cottage cheese can also be found abroad.
The TV presenter also said that he “acquired” heart failure after February 2022 due to “inner despair”.
“Yes, I had two free surgeries in France, covered by the government. In the first case, an electric shock was given, then a stent was inserted. “They allowed me to live in the rhythm in which I live,” Vasiliev shared.
Currently Alexander Vasiliev lives in France. The TV presenter has French and Lithuanian citizenship. In October 2023, the fashion historian admitted that she did not work in Russia because she was “blacklisted” in her homeland.
Previously comedian Mikhail Shats (known as an agent of foreign media in the Russian Federation) supported Poperechny was accused of discrediting the Russian army.
