Australian actress and Oscar winner Nicole Kidan has slammed director Martin Scorsese for not having women in his films. The 57-year-old star of The Hours and Eyes Wide Shut nail Diversity.
According to Kidman, if there is a role for her, she dreams of taking part in the movie of 81-year-old director Martin Scorsese (The Godfather, The Irishman, Goodfellas, The Wolf of Wall Street).
“I always said that if Scorsese ever made a movie with women, I wanted to work with him,” she says.
Kidman also added that she would like to work with directors Kathryn Bigelow, Spike Jonze, Paul Thomas Anderson and Michael Haneke.
In 2011, actress Meryl Streep shared a similar opinion about Scorsese.
“I’d like Martin Scorsese to dabble in female characters from time to time, but I don’t know if I’ll live to see it,” he said.
