A new play about Chekhov will be staged at the Dramatic Art School

The premiere of Anton Pavlovich Chekhov’s play “My Beloved” will take place at the School of Dramatic Art (SDA) in Moscow. This was reported by TASS with reference to the theater press service.

“The performance speaks to the audience through the language of symbols. Basically, scenes are built not on the text itself, but on the sensations created by this text. “This performance is like a scream from the soul, in which the hero’s emotions will be revealed, like electrical wires with damaged insulation,” said director Artem Cherkaev.

Two actors will take part in the production: Alina Chernobrovkina and Kirill Fedorov. Both will play various roles in the play.

The premieres will take place on October 31 and November 1, and ShDI’s Youth Program will continue under the leadership of director Gleb Cherepanov.
