Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Alexey Nilov, in a conversation with socialbites.ca, described the news of the death of Igor Moskvitin, one of the directors of the series “Streets of Broken Lanterns”, as unexpected. According to Nilov, the director was undeservedly forgotten.
“It was quite unexpected because we celebrated his seventieth birthday just a year ago. we have it [в сериале] It didn’t appear right away, I don’t even remember which season. Professional director, good episodes. We were very patient because we were always very difficult to work with. We caused him a lot of trouble with our behavior. But we still maintained a pretty good relationship even after we left the show. It seemed to me that he was undeservedly forgotten. “I don’t think he’s had much work lately,” he said.
Nilov recalled how a year ago he congratulated Moskvitin on its anniversary with other actors of the series. He stated that he could not personally congratulate the director at that time for his work.
“It was a very planned, well-rehearsed improvisation. She didn’t know that at the restaurant where she was going to celebrate, men would come and congratulate her on her birthday. And then when they congratulated him Shura [Александр Половцев] I handed him the phone and congratulated him on the phone. I had a seizure, I told him everything. I think he was happy with that. I had the pleasure of congratulating him on his seventieth birthday, completely sincerely and with all my heart. We only met on the set and didn’t see each other for a long time. We should go to church and light a candle. He’s a great director. “I thank him for everything, kingdom of heaven,” he concluded.
