Kanye West’s former employee John Doe has filed a lawsuit against the rapper, claiming that working with the artist caused him emotional distress. This was reported by Diversity.
John Doe was registered with the rapper’s company as “Director of Intelligence.” He hired private detectives on West’s behalf to spy on the rapper’s wife, Bianca Censori, while the model was visiting family in Australia. The man also collected material on all members of Kim Kardashian’s family because the rapper suspected his ex-wife and her loved ones of “human trafficking and sex crimes.”
Do’s other duties included coming up with ideas to get West on the front page more often and searching for lost or stolen items.
“Kanye routinely lost expensive cars or failed to pay people for services performed at his direction,” Doe shared in the lawsuit.
The former employee, who served in the military, said his experience working with West affected his mental health. Additionally, the rapper did not pay his full salary.
Dow said West fired most of the company’s leaders in May. The former employee said the rapper began behaving inappropriately after becoming addicted to laughing gas.
Kanye West’s former assistant in early August reportedthat the dentist provided the rapper with nitrous oxide for non-medical purposes.
