On July 30, Zaryadye Park in Moscow will host a festive film concert “Starring Moscow”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Moskino. The movie concert will be the main event of a series of festive events dedicated to this important date.
Stars of Russian theater and cinema will perform in front of the Russians and perform songs from popular films, accompanied by an orchestra. For example, Russians will be able to enjoy the singing of Polina Agureeva and Aglaya Shilovskaya, Marina Zudina and Alexander Oleshko, Valeria Shkirando and Stanislav Duzhnikov, Oleg Ots, Liza Ermakova and other artists. The special guest of the event, Natalia Varley, will be the host of the night, Vladimir Marconi.
On the big screens, viewers will see quotes from the best movie novels, in which one of the main characters is Moscow. Russians will be shown how the capital and its image in the cinema have changed, how Soviet and Russian screenwriters, directors and actors sang about Moscow and were inspired by it.
