The X St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures begins on September 11. The official opening will take place on September 12, and the most important event on the “zero” day will be a lecture by Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. TASS.
“On September 11, we will hear a speech by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia. This is a distinctive event of this year’s forum. Also on the same day, a forum with the participation of BRICS culture ministers will be held,” Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said at a press conference.
This year, the Patriarch will give his first lecture at the United Forum of Cultures, the main theme of which is “Culture of the 21st Century: Sovereignty or Globalization?” Mikhail Shvydkoy, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation, noted that this issue affects all spheres of life and concerns all countries.
On the second day of the forum, September 12, a meeting with heads of authorities in the field of culture, a plenary session and various events in the Russian Federation will be held within the framework of the Coordination Council of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The main areas of the forum.
The third day is planned to discuss the ethics of using artificial intelligence in culture and art, trends in modern musical culture, and new opportunities for dialogue between Russian and Chinese theaters. The final day, September 14, will be held in the St. George Hall of the Winter Palace, where the Hermitage Prize presentation ceremony will take place.
