Game of Thrones’ Iron Throne Up for Auction

HBO and Heritage auction house will hold an auction of more than two thousand props from the filming of the series “Game of Thrones.” This was reported by entertainment.ha.com.

The auction will feature costumes, weapons and scenes from Game of Thrones, including the Iron Throne, the robes of Cersei Lannister and Sansa Stark, Arya Stark’s Needle sword and Jaime Lannister’s Sworn sword, the Weirwood tapestry and dragon skulls from the Red Keep.

Bidding will be held online from October 10-12. The starting bid for the Iron Throne is $6,250, Jamie’s artificial arm is $5,000, Bran Stark’s wheelchair is $4,000 and Tyrion Lannister’s Hand brooch is $3,000.

In August, author George RR Martin, whose books were adapted into TV series Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, criticized HBO’s new series. According to Martin, something went wrong with the House of the Dragon series, a prequel to the fantasy project Game of Thrones.

Martin, who co-wrote and executive produced House of the Dragon, recently praised the series’ fourth episode for its beautifully shot dragon fight scene.
