Streaming service Netflix has pulled the second season of Detectives from Beyond, based on Neil Gaiman’s comic book series, weeks after the author was accused of sexual assault. This was reported by NME.

Two women in July statedthat author Neil Gaiman “performed crude and painful acts of a sexual nature on them.” The author himself denies all accusations.

The premiere of “Detectives from Beyond” took place on April 25, 2024. The series was about two young people who decided not to go to the afterlife, but to stay on Earth to investigate supernatural crimes. The adventure show became part of the Sandman universe, written by the same Gaiman.

NME attributes the series’ demise to the allegations against Gaiman, as the series was a huge success with viewers. “Detectives from Beyond” has a 92% “fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is ranked number three on the US Neilsen charts.

Previously reportedTom Cruise is said to be looking forward to filming in space due to his obsession with UFOs.
