Transformer blogger’s wife detained 12:13

Dmitry “Transformer” Portnyagin’s wife Ekaterina was detained on suspicion of bribery. In this regard reports Telegram channel Baza.

According to the channel’s sources in the Investigative Committee, Ekaterina Portnyagina was detained on suspicion of bribery. The arrest took place during the transfer of 300 thousand rubles to an employee of the North-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow.

The money was allegedly used to obtain permission to build on the territory of the elite Siberian bath complex, a project of the Portnyagins. Prices for visiting the bath on the project website start from 25 thousand rubles for 4 hours of steaming.

The Tverskoy District Court ruled to ban Portnyagina from certain actions, and a lawsuit was filed against the woman under the article on bribery mediation.

Portnyagin family lawyers Evgeny Gritskov, Mikhail Mushailov and Vadim Shakhov declined to comment on the incident to the channel.

Portnyagin was detained in Rostov-on-Don on April 12; before that, he was in a special military operations zone on a humanitarian mission. He is under house arrest in the case of tax evasion and money laundering by criminal means (part 2 of article 198 and part 4 of article 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, subparagraph “b”). His wife Ekaterina is a suspect in the case.

During the interrogation, the founder of the “Entrepreneurs Club” admitted the following: crushed business between a spouse and one of its partners. Experts explained that breaking up a business makes it possible to use a simplified tax system and save on value added tax and profit tax.
