The presenter of the popular Comedy Club program on TNT, Garik Kharlamov, was appointed creative producer of the project. This was reported by the press service of the channel. RBC.
In his new role, Kharlamov will be responsible for the creative preparation of Comedy Club broadcasts, including organizing the work of scriptwriters, monitoring the writing of materials and determining topical issues.
Garik himself noted that the new responsibilities will be a “bonus” to the role of the show’s resident. “A well-coordinated team of writers and producers is working on the new season of the series. We want to completely restart the comedy club, find a new look and a new approach, “he said.
Many creative producers work at Comedy Club. After Garik Martirosyan left in 2018, Alexey Poimanov, Sergey Mokhnachev, Ilya Romanko and Alexey Lyaporov, who have been working for TNT since the early 2000s, joined the project. Now they will collaborate with Kharlamov.
TNT director Tina Kandelaki called Kharlamov’s appointment “a logical development of his talent” and noted that the Comedy Club producer must be able to react quickly and formulate creative ideas on current events.
Kharlamov has been a resident of Comedy Club since his appearance on television in 2005, thanks to which he gained wide popularity. Prior to that, he worked as a presenter on Muz-TV and hosted the reality show The Office on TNT. The artist is also actively involved in films.
Comedy Club is considered one of the most popular programs on the channel. According to Mediascope’s TV meter, the ratings and share of the program among viewers aged 14-44 are significantly higher than the channel’s average. In the first half of 2024, the series was watched by an average of 1.6% of the country’s residents in this age group and 9.6% of all TV viewers. For comparison, in January – June 2023, the rating was 1.8%, and the share was 9.5%.
Special issue “Comedy Club. New Year on TNT Comedyvision” took second place in the top 10 most watched videos on YouTube during the New Year’s holiday of 2024.
TNT’s overall rating in the target audience is 0.6%, and its share is 7.6%. The channel’s share increased compared to the first half of 2023, which was 7.5%, but its rating decreased by 0.1 points.
