Shooting of the drama “Page 35” began in Moscow. The portal reports Cinematics.
The film is the debut of director Philipp Lars. The film tells the story of a midlife crisis, the path of self-discovery through friendship and intimacy. The main roles in the project are played by Egor Koreshkov, Anna Chipovskaya and David Sokratyan; the cast also includes Olzhas Togymbet, Vladimir Maisinger and Semyon Shomin.

The film’s plot revolves around a 34-year-old writer named Angelevsky (Koreshkov), who has failed to receive Russia’s main literary award for the third time. After the hero’s wallet, which contains his only memory of his mother, is stolen, a 20-year-old pickpocket named Aldar (Sokratyan) begins to read Angelevsky’s books.
Aldar is impressed by the writer’s work and becomes his student, and Angelevsky sees in him a talented storyteller with rich life experience. Their friendship grows closer over time.
Director Philip Lars is a finalist in the “Thriller Lab” organized by the Digital Television media holding to support new projects in genre cinema and exchange experiences. The film’s script was highly appreciated by the Thriller Lab experts in 2022 and was supported by the Ministry of Culture after the presentation of the game projects in 2023.
