“At first we thought of focusing on one episode of his life or one of his paintings, but eventually we decided on a movie. biographical comics. For those who do not know his figure, he gives a general idea about Goya. And we offer some winks, resources, and graphic games that might interest readers who already know it. For example, not many people know that he devoted himself to the design of tapestries before going to court”, they describe their work.

Jorge and Andrés, in addition to their satisfaction with the award, experience working in a team: “We learned at school that we need to feed each other. We all like to have our own projects, but you also need to lower your ego and collaborate. And it was great to make this offer together. You have many doubts when you are alone, but in this way there is mutual support. Doubts and conflicts of opinion also arise, but this is that’s what makes you grow”.

Jorge, Andrés, Lucía and Alba are all part of the new hearth of Galician comics, following Galician writers like Kiko da Silva or Miguelanxo Prado, both teachers at the Vigo academy. “There are many young people starting out in Galicia, and the school gives you the foundation to commit to it,” Andrés said.
