“The Finist – The First Hero” is the prequel to the popular trilogy “The Last Hero” and reveals the backstories of the main characters. The main character of the film will be Finist Yasny Falcon, an arrogant hero who goes on a dangerous journey to the eastern lands for the sake of the love of the people.
Finist will be accompanied by Melyokha and the young sorceress Baba Yaga. On the way, they will meet the inventor Anarif, the talking camel Jamal and the hero’s lover Zlata.
The film was directed by Dmitry Dyachenko, known for his work in the movie “Cheburashka”. It is worth noting that a sequel and three parts of “Cheburashka” are also planned. The premiere of the sequel to “Cheburashka” will be held on January 1, 2026, and the shooting of the third film will begin in the summer of 2026.
