It has been announced which movie will be shown at the closing of the Moscow Film Festival 14:45

The blockbuster “Major Thunder: The Game” will be the closing film of the 46th Moscow International Film Festival. In this respect RIA News said Ivan Kudryavtsev, chairman of the MIFF selection committee.

“The closing film of the Moscow International Film Festival is the most anticipated blockbuster among young audiences… “Major Thunder: The Game,” said Kudryavtsev.

He also added that the series has a large fan base.

The plot of the third film takes place a year after the events of the second. St. Petersburg had already recovered from the shocks caused by the Plague Doctor, and Sergei Razumovsky found himself in a psychiatric hospital. Igor Grom turned out to be the main celebrity of the city, his life became almost ideal. But the police officer’s paradise is interrupted by a new villain who calls himself the Phantom.

Tikhon Zhiznevsky, Alexander Seteykin, Alexey Maklakov, Lyubov Aksenova, Sergey Goroshko and Konstantin Khabensky will return to their roles in the new episode of the Major Thunder series. The movie “Major Thunder: The Game” will be released in Russian cinemas on May 23, 2024.
